Recently, Guangzhou Center for Disease Control and Prevention released the Covid-19 vaccination guidelines for those who want to going abroad for private purposes in the not-too-distant future.

Who can apply?
Guangzhou residents at the age group of 18 to 59 years old (Guangzhou permanent residents or people with temporary residence permit or enrolment statement of Guangzhou university) and are about to go abroad for work or study.

1.Guangzhou First People’s Hospital

2.Guangzhou Red Cross Hospital, Jinan University

How to make a reservation?
Reservations for the Covid-19 vaccine can be made at Guangzhou First People’s Hospital or Guangzhou Red Cross Hospital, Jinan University through their WeChat official account.
The applicants should take their ID cards, passports, and the offer from the universities overseas or visa letter with them to the hospital. Copies of the above-mentioned documents which are for personal identity verification, are also needed.
Before the vaccination, a 2 week time-span is needed if the applicants have received any other dose of vaccines. In addition, a personal statement for outbound travel needs to be signed.

On January 11th, Guangdong reported 7 new cases of imported confirmed infection and 11 new asymptomatic cases.
Seven confirmed cases, reported by Guangzhou, include 2 from the United States, 2 from Nigeria, and 3 respectively from Malaysia, UAE, and Jordan. And 11 asymptomatic cases, reported by Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Foshan, and Zhaoqing, include 2 from Tanzania, 3 from Iraq, Malaysia, and Uganda, 1 from Kenya, 1 from Burundi, 1 from Indonesia, 1 from Ghana, and 2 from Bolivia. All of above cases were found at the port of entry, and were quarantined for observation immediately.
As of midnight yesterday, Guangdong had reported a total of 2075 cases, including 679 imported cases.
